Before he kicked off GC Partners, he was the CEO of Voxco. Under his leadership, Voxco turbocharged its growth both via organic and inorganic initiatives. Voxco was sold to a private equity fund out of Atlanta generating top tier returns for his investors. Before Voxco, Sumit was an investment banker at Houlihan Lokey and Bank of America Merrill Lynch covering Business Services and Technology sectors. He was previously a member of IMF’s macro research team.
Sumit has an MBA from Yale SOM, received an MS in Financial Engineering from Claremont Colleges and completed his undergraduate studies at Punjab Engineering College. Sumit is currently a Board Member of Priory, one of Montreal’s premier private schools.
Arun firmly believes in the magic of value creation through collaboration, judicious capital allocation, and streamlined processes. With almost two decades of experience in finance and investment banking, Arun’s journey includes a significant tenure at Bank of America Merrill Lynch’s investment banking division, where he helped Fortune 500 global industrial companies in attaining their strategic and financial objectives. His expertise extends to spearheading numerous intricate corporate transactions, spanning M&A, LBOs, cross-border deals, restructuring, and JV formations across diverse industries.
Prior to BofA Merrill Lynch, Arun worked at TLcom Capital Partners, a Venture Capital firm focusing on growth stage technology investments in Europe and Israel, and at ABN AMRO Bank’s Financial Sponsors Group in London.
Arun holds an MBA from INSEAD and an MS in computer science from RWTH Aachen University in Germany.
David joined GC Partners after a successful career in investment banking in New York and Houston as a managing director advising clients in the Technology, Energy Transition, Telecom and Media industries on capital markets transactions, mergers and acquisitions and strategy. Throughout his career, David has advised and executed on over $250 billion in M&A and capital markets transactions for clients, including several landmark transactions.
David began his career in the technology industry where he held several leadership roles on software and hardware teams.
David has a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Rice University and an MBA from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College.
Scott is a decorated wartime United States Marine, ex-CEO from the defense industry, ex-corporate development executive, and recovering investment banker. He has a passion for empowering teams, a bias for taking action, and builds rapport with everyone he meets. Often, you’ll find him working on a hand-written letter to a business owner, but when he’s not focused on the next deal; Scott has a panache for travel, sushi, fine wine, golf, and spending time with the ones he loves.
He earned his undergraduate degree from American Military University, and his MBA from the McDonough School of Business at Georgetown University.
Based in Montreal, Usama brings 15+ years of strategic leadership at the intersection of investors and operators, with a focus on AI-driven innovation, digital transformation, and value creation across institutional portfolios and PE-backed tech companies.
Most recently, he was Director, Complementary Portfolio at PSP Investments (~$244B AUM), where he led digital innovation across global assets—including deploying AI solutions at a major airport holding and building data tools to support investment decisions.
Earlier, at Bell Canada, he held senior roles in digital strategy and long-term planning, managing a $25M P&L and driving automation-led productivity gains. He began his career in finance roles at Bombardier Aerospace, GE Lighting, and Pharmapar.
Usama holds a B.Comm in Finance from Concordia University and is pursuing a dual Executive MBA from Kellogg (Northwestern) and Schulich (York).
Abhey brings 10+ years of experience in marketing, design, and content strategy across startups and established brands. As VP of Growth Marketing and GM for India at Voxco Survey Software, he led data-driven initiatives in branding, content, and sales enablement, contributing to the company’s acquisition in 2023. Previously, he co-founded Tattva Naturals, a B2C cosmetics brand selected for Amazon Launchpad, and led marketing at fintech startup Trupay. He also ran a digital agency supporting SMBs, and has contributed to public initiatives like designing India’s first colored Economic Survey cover and advising local police on pro bono campaigns. Abhey holds a degree in Electrical Engineering from Punjab Engineering College and enjoys reading psychology and philosophy.
Shiva Bharadwaj has a combined experience in finance and operations, having dedicated the past several years to growing and operating cTrace Solutions, a healthcare staffing company. Amidst the COVID pandemic, he helped lead the process to provide contact tracers to government clients, quickly scaling to 300+ resources. He then led the company pivot towards broader healthcare staffing, resulting in multiple new government contracts. Shiva also has experience in equity research, focusing on the medtech and healthcare services sectors at AllianceBernstein.
He earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Pennsylvania, where he studied Mathematical Economics.
